Hazmat Packaging

Hazardous Material Packing

Hazmat repacking consists of taking a hazardous material and properly repacking the contents to meet IMDG, DOT, and IATA requirements as well as issuing a hazardous declaration so it can ship on the corresponding freight mode.

When we have a hazmat repacking job, our role is to handle the proper box and or crate, placarding, labeling, and issuing the HAZ dec to the shipper. Because of our expertise and experienced crew, we are able to offer customers fast turnaround times and 24/7 customer service. We have the capability to properly pack hazardous material same day, while most others in the industry can take up to 2 weeks or more.

South Shore Crate and Pack can facilitate hazardous repacking for shippers throughout New England. Our team covers every class except 6 and 7. Best of all, we are on call 24/7 for all things hazmat!
